A New York jeweller is selling cymatic patterns as diamonds

Ruveil maps sound frequencies with software and casts the resulting geometry in precious metal, framed in the language of energetic resonance.

Sonia Esther Soltani's piece for Rapaport Magazine, published 1 June 2026, profiles Ruveil, a New York fine jewellery brand founded by GIA-trained gemologist Gabrielle Saunders. Its Cymatics collection starts from software-generated frequency patterns and translates them into metalwork set with diamonds and coloured stones.

The article quotes the process directly: "The pieces begin with studying and mapping cymatic patterns using a specialized application. Each design is then carefully translated into precious metals and set with diamonds and gemstones chosen not only for their beauty, but for their energetic resonance."

Two things are worth separating. The design method is real and reproducible: a cymatic figure is a well-defined geometry and makes a good ornamental motif. The selection of stones for "energetic resonance" is a crystal-healing claim with no physical basis; gemstones do not have therapeutic frequencies. No prices appear in the article.
