The page runs in the browser in real time: you get sliders for particle count, force, playback speed and trail opacity, a set of geometry presets including torus, DNA and vortex, background themes, an orbit camera, and inputs for audio or uploaded EEG data. Six contributors are credited.
It is genuinely fun to push around, and the author's phrasing is the right one. This is a visualiser, not a simulation: the figures it draws are chosen for effect, not solved from the modes of a plate or a fluid surface. Nothing on the page claims otherwise, and we would not want a reader to cite it as physics.
Use it the way you would a synthesiser preset browser — for ideas about look, not about mechanism.
