Kymat is a German project that describes itself as combining art, biophonics and wave physics, working mainly with sound driven into water. Beyond installations and live shows, it runs a shop, and the price list is unusually transparent for this corner of the field.
Wave images such as Wellenbild Alpha, Wellenbild Moog and Wellenbild S/W 93Hz run from €45 to €470 depending on size. A commissioned personal sound image is €1,200. The two albums, Sonic Bloom and Good Vibrations, are sold as digital LPs at €9, vinyl at €29 and €49, and standalone 4K films at €9. Merchandise includes a water sound bowl developed with Peter Hess.
The project sits at the point where cymatics becomes decor and merchandise. That is a legitimate place to be, and the pricing is a useful reference if you are ever asked what a cymatic print is worth.
