KYMAT's Instagram, @kymat_official, showed 33,000 followers and 330 posts when we checked it. The bio is a fair summary of the operation: "visible sound waves & music with plants • cymatic water installations & live shows".
Their own site, kymat.de, fills in what the feed only implies. They build interactive sound installations and audiovisual performances, sell fine-art prints of water sound images, and have released two limited vinyl editions, Good Vibrations and Sonic Bloom, at 500 copies each. The venue list they publish includes Art Basel Hong Kong, Milan Design Week, Nuit Blanche Paris and Fusion Festival.
The caveats are the usual ones for this corner. The site describes one album as containing sound-therapy elements, and the shop includes water sound bowls co-developed with Peter Hess; treat those as wellbeing products rather than anything clinically demonstrated. The installation work stands perfectly well on its own.
